Crops of the Parkland an Interesting Attraction

- “What’s that crop with yellow flowers?” “What does flax look like?” These are questions we hear tourists asking the staff at the Visitor Information Centre every summer. For several years, the staff have been able to direct the tourists to the Crops of the Parkland plots to the north of the Centre. A variety of annual crops grown in the Parkland are on display with an explanation about each. Thank you to Thom Weir, Jim Gorman, Vic Surjick and staff from Ducks Unlimited Canada for seeding and maintaining the plot this year. It’s truly a unique and interesting attraction for Yorkton.
