The Yorkton Chamber of Commerce was registered with the Secretary of State for Canada in January 18,1898 as the Yorkton and District Board of Trade, Yorkton, North West Territories, with George A. Bull, insurance broker, signing the documents as secretary of the Yorkton and District Board of Trade. Â
Hanging in the Chamber office is a facsimile of the document of formation with the names of the original charter members written in the beautiful copperplate hand of the era.Â
