President’s Message

It is with tremendous gratitude and pride that I accept the role of President of the Yorkton Chamber of Commerce. I am deeply honoured by the trust placed in me and sincerely thankful for the dedication of those who have served before me, whose leadership has helped build a strong and respected organization.

To my fellow Directors, thank you for the confidence you have shown in me and for the opportunity to help lead our Chamber into the future. Together, we will continue to advocate in the best interests of our members.

The Yorkton Chamber has long been a voice for local business, economic growth, and community collaboration. I am continuously inspired by the commitment of our members, board, and Chamber staff who work tirelessly to support entrepreneurship and opportunity throughout our region.

As we look ahead, I believe the focus should continue to be on strengthening relationships, advocating for a vibrant and competitive business environment, and ensuring the Yorkton Chamber continues to deliver meaningful value to its members. By building on our momentum and embracing new opportunities, we can continue to work collaboratively to support a thriving local business community and a robust network of business partners.

As a resident of Yorkton for more than 30 years and a Chamber director for the past four years, I have witnessed firsthand the resilience, innovation, and community spirit that makes this city a great place to live and do business. I am proud to serve in this role and look forward to working alongside our members, fellow directors and the Chamber staff to support continued growth and success for our city and surrounding communities.
