Yorkton Chamber of Commerce History 1968
The Chamber was operated entirely by volunteers until Bert Sveinson became part time secretary, operating out of his office. He acted in that capacity until Margaret Taylor was hired in 1968 by President Joe Bast, as the first full time paid secretary operating out of the Chamber office in premises now occupied by the Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans. Â
